Gunfleet Logistics has been playing EVE with the same core group of people since approximately February 2006. Along the way, we merged with two great groups of players, {WZD} and KORM.
We see ourselves much more as a family than as an in-game corporation, and as such, we have extremely high expectations of Gunfleet members. We've laid out some of those here, so you can know if we'd be a good fit for you.
1. If you're under 18, we don't want to get sued by your parents - We're not interested in you.2. If you think EVE is a game of days and hours - We're not interested in you.
3. Read 2 again. If you are impatient or shortsighted, and not able to defend your ideas in an adult manner, we are COMPLETELY not interested in you.
4. If you aren't on Vent / voice comms the majority of your play time - We're not interested in you.
5. If you can't take direction and give direction... If you can't observe comms discipline... If you can't give a concise scout report under pressure... We're not for you.
6. If you can't adhere to a standard no-smack, no-comms policy - We're not interested. We don't smack, we don't converse. Leave it for a few key communicators. If this is really going to get under your skin, you need to read 6 again. Short of complete incompatibility, breaking 6 is the quickest way out of Gunfleet.
7. If you're infallible, we don't want you. We all make mistakes from time to time. However, you need to be able to be honestly self-critical and point out your own mistakes as well as others'. Note, this is the second fastest way out of Gunfleet.
8. If you're a killboard fetishist, we don't want you. Our KB policy is reporting every kill and loss. Period. However, Gunfleet quite often works the roles that don't get kills: Scouts, reppers, jammers, logistics, alt scouts, cyno pilots, freighter pilots, traders, inventors, and others. We won't kick you out for flying logistics or support.
9. If you don't want to give more than you get from Gunfleet, we don't want you.
